Happy New Year

To: The Great Leaders Who Have a Passion for Continuous Learning

"Perfection is achieved, not when there is nothing left to add, but
when there is nothing left to take away." writes Antoine de St.
Exupery. His words remind us that richness in life is in its
simplification. So often we choose to make it more complicated.
Success, however, is achieved more readily when we rid ourselves of
the non-essentials that clutter our life's purpose. It is these
non-essentials that stand in the way of our progress, as they consume
our precious time and energy and keep us from our priorities.

See yourself differently this week - be the the sculptor of your life
in every effort you undertake. Chip away the stones that hide life's
beauties so that you may see things in their simplest terms, returning
you to the first principles, until you find the perfection you
seek..."when there is nothing left to take away." And in this be
comforted by the words of Lau Tzu: " When you realize there is nothing
lacking, the whole world belongs to you." That is the journey of the
great leaders.

And may this New Year of 2009 be your greatest year ever: in your journey to find your greatest
full potential, in your accomplishments and in your support to others
that they, too, may find their own special greatness and potential!
